S2 E23 The One With the Chicken Pox

Click above for the video of NZ comedian Tom Sainsbury doing his cat faceswap video – it’s truly gold for any other cat lovers out there <3

We can't find any pictures or video of Renee's All Dogs Go To Heaven dance recital but here is the VHS cover for nostalgia's sake. I;m honestly tearing up just looking at it.

S2 E20: The One Where Old Yeller Dies

THE END! THE END!

Phoebe learns that the world is not as sunny as it all seems, Ross and Rachel fight their way to saying “I Love You” after paying the taxes in Scarborough, Bowl Cut Ben says his first word, and Joey & Chandler get crushes on their dad, Richard.

S2 E21: The One With the Bullies

Monica has nearly gone off the rails thanks to the business channel (is that what they called it in the 90s?). Phoebe nearly meets her dad, but instead it’s the first time we meet Frank Jr! And Chandler & Ross get bullied by baggy-suited bros at the coffee shop.

Frank Jr!

S2 E22: The One With Two Parties

Two Parties to keep your feuding parents apart? Too heavy handed? Or just the right amount? WHY DO WE ALWAYS HAVE TO POACH SOMETHING.

Just incase you need to win an argument – a moon rainbow (or “Moonbow” is a thing!  – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5VkRQmIBAc

Everyone wearing
green in honor of
Rachel GREEN!

S2E19: The One Where Eddie Won’t Go

“No he won’t go, no no, he won’t go” – Renee’s original song

Joey's jaunty hat!
This is Be Your Own Windkeeper from Good Reads... but it really feels like a scam... order at your own risk, Goddesses

S2 E18: The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies

Dr. Ramoray Gets the Shaft!

Renee thought Phoebe's outfit reminded her of the outfit from Wish Upon A Star and she was DEAD RIGHT because it appears to be literally the exact same fabric. Well spotted Renee!

And below we have the movie posters for Coming Home and The Deer Hunter, of which we have seen neither, so, please don’t ask us about them.

And finally, the content you've been waiting for, the men in robes!

S2 E17: The One Where Eddie Moves In

Now that Ross and Rachel are official, Ross is over at the girls’ apartment and it’s a real Entertainment Tonight vs. Predators of the Serengeti situation. J Man is officially moved out of Channy’s, and has decorated his new place with all the finest porcelain one man could buy. Chandler gets a new roommate, Eddie, and Smelly Cat gets a music video!

S2E15: The One Where Ross and Rachel… You Know

I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news. The good news is, look how ethereal Olivia Newton John looks in that Xanadu poster above! The bad news is, I’m pretty sure Amazing Discoveries is some kind of cult now. Ok maybe not a cult, but the website has a scrolling gallery of links to donate to their “ministry” and absolutely no immediately available information on what they actually are or do. So…. I think the Amazing Discoveries we know and love is not around. Sorry team!

More good news though (for people who live in or near Chicago). My Pi Pizza is still delicious! The only deep dish I can recommend. Tell them Ashley sent ya (just kidding, don’t do that, they have no idea who I am). https://www.mypiepizza.com/

S2 E14: The One with the Prom Video

I pity the fool who misses this episode, I do I do! On this episode of Lobster Cheaters… er…. I mean, Best Friends Club Podcast, we have our first flashback! Monica busts out the prom video. What’s not to love? Ross goes along with Phoebe’s whim for the first time, because it benefits him (do the claws again!) Joey buys Chandler the woman repeller from the Mr. T collection…. and we find out HE’S HER LOBSTER <3

Do Lobsters Mate for Life? Marine science today says no. Haven’t heard back from Ashley on her totally legitimate link…  http://marinesciencetoday.com/2017/02/14/lobsters-a-love-story/

Now it’s time for OUR PROM PICS. Get ready for a lot of french twists and eyeliner.

Sophomore Year Homecoming
junior prom - here's Ashley's white flower train dress and my black dress the first time around 🙂
Senior Prom! Black Dress Take 2 for Renee and Ash also lookin chic in black. Please enjoy $300 worth of corsages we definitely didn't need. (I wouldn't have eaten if i knew there was corsage!)

S2 E12 and 13: The One After the Superbowl

Eat Us, We're Done!

Welcome to this season’s two-parter, Episodes 12 and 13, The One After the Superbowl. We’ve got sports, we’ve got cameos, we’ve got animals (ugh Marcelllllll is back), so let’s get into it!

So first thing’s first – we learned that Friends is leaving Netflix (US) in 2020, so here is a link to buy the complete box set on DVD from Best Buy! (also available in Canada and Mexico, just find your local link).

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/friends-the-complete-series-collection-dvd/8923049.p?skuId=8923049&intl=nosplash

Since it is currently 2019, you might not want to buy DVDs. You can buy seasons on iTunes ($20 each).

No word on when Friends might leave TVNZ streaming service, so… maybe everyone move to New Zealand? You can get your All Birds here too, win win!

Introducing - the celeb cameos:

Up first: Chris Isaak. "Um, pick a manlier note please." We love your falsetto, Chris.
Brooke Shields really nailing the crazy stalker vibe! Someone give this woman her own sitcom!
Here's a bonus pic of Brooke's great animal print outfit that we would totally wear present day.
This isn't the best pic of Julia Roberts's cameo but it does have the restaurant name on the menu showing! Fun little Easter Egg.
Here's the little sliver where you can see Chandler's boxers peeking out. Come on costume department!
Jean Claude van Damme, the Muscles from Brussels, with his 2 fave ladies. Where's Drew Barrymore?

Fred Willard and Dan Castellaneta were the two zoo employees. I didn’t bother finding pictures sorry, let us know if you really want their pics.

And since we know you’ve been waiting for it, here’s Outbreak 2: The Virus (not Monkey, sorry) Takes Manhattan.
